City Grants Mexican American Cultural Center, Library Upgrades Construction Bid

An El Paso health clinic, Project Vida, will be receiving additional funding from the Ending Homelessness Fund.

following Tuesday’s city council meeting.

On Tuesday, city council officials voted in favor of accepting the amount of $51,804 from the Texas Department and Community Affairs to go towards the Ending Homelessness Fund.

The money will be sub-awarded to Project Vida to assist their Homelessness Recovery and Prevention Program, according to Nicole Ferrini, director of community and human development.

Within their Homelessness Prevention and Recovery program, Project Vida provides services such as “Roots & Wings,” Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Re-Housing Prevention.
